About the Role
We are seeking professional, proactive, and highly motivated SIA Event Response Officers to join our expanding event security team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering a safe and secure experience for event attendees, staff, performers, and stakeholders.
As an Event Response Officer, you will be responsible for responding to incidents, supporting crowd safety measures, managing access control, and providing a visible security presence at a variety of events including concerts, festivals, sporting fixtures, exhibitions, corporate functions, and public events.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a professional and visible security presence throughout event venues.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
• Conduct access control duties, including ticket validation, accreditation checks, and staff entry procedures.
• Monitor crowd behaviour and intervene appropriately when required.
• Assist in managing crowd movement and maintaining public safety.
• Support venue evacuation procedures and emergency response plans.
• Conduct patrols of designated areas to identify and report security or safety risks.
• Handle conflict situations professionally and in accordance with company procedures.
• Liaise with event management, emergency services, venue staff, and other security personnel.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with venue regulations, event policies, and licensing requirements.

• Previous experience in event security, venue security, stewarding, or customer-facing roles is desirable.
Essential Requirements
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Essential).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must be aged 18 years or over.
• Ability to stand, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to travel to various event locations.
Desirable Qualifications
• Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
• Previous experience within the events industry.
• Spectator Safety qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.
• Experience working at large-scale events, festivals, or sporting venues.
